Business Growth Programme
This Business Growth Programme will be delivered by The Discovery Partnership Limited. The programme is a highly action-orientated programme designed to achieve results for your business. The programme is delivered over six months and is specifically designed for SME owners/managers. It is a highly interactive combination of workshops and one-to-one coaching/mentoring sessions focused on achieving high performance growth and profitability.
Who should participate?
This programme is ideal for SME Business Owners, Managing Directors and other key members of the Management Team who want to develop and grow a profitable and sustainable business. The businesses that participate on our programmes range in size from a few employees to employing 100+. Programme Aim
The programme is designed to improve organisational and management capability, focused on achieving a high level of business performance, resulting in sustainable growth and increased profitability.
Programme Structure
There are three elements to this programme:
- Pre-programme, 3-hour diagnostic session to assess the current business and organisational performance and to plan the positive impact and results that you, the business owner/manager, would expect to achieve as outcomes from participation in the programme
- Six one-day thought-provoking and practical workshops with c.12, fellow-sme owner/managers focusing on the key result areas to grow your business. Topics will include business development, business planning, goal setting, strategic planning, building your team, marketing/PR and finance.
- Six one-to-one 2-hour coaching/mentoring sessions focusing on achieving high performance results for YOUR business
The programme will be delivered over a 6 month period. During the one-day workshops, you will be armed with practical techniques that can be applied immediately within the business to deliver results. You will be given The Discovery Partnership’s programme materials, business improvement tools and practical templates to immediately use and implement within your business. The structure and timing of the one-to-one coaching/mentoring sessions will help you embed the learning and be able to effectively apply the techniques within your organisation to achieve the results you want for your business.

What is the cost of the programme?
ManagementWorks is an initiative of Skillnets and supported by the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs 2014. The highly subsidised programme fee is €234 + VAT per month for 6 months, or €1,400 + VAT in total. The fee includes all training, mentoring, course materials, lunches and refreshments.
How do I find out more or secure a place on the programme?
We regularly host free business briefings on Business Growth in locations throughout Ireland. For anyone considering participating in the programme, these briefing sessions provide an excellent opportunity to meet with the trainers, coaches and ManagementWorks team.
The briefing session is a taster of the content in the programme. You will be able to attend a business briefing in your area within a few weeks of each programme commencing. Check the schedule on the ManagementWorks website for details and to book your free place at a briefing session.
